Scrollbars in IFrame?

Nov 3, 2011 at 9:25 AM

A lot of people ask how to eliminate the scrollbars from an IFrame.  The most common solutions are discussed at StackOverflow.

I'm wondering if some standard function should be implemented in FGT for this so that developers don't all need to work this out on their own.

I've tried a couple of the solutions, like overflow:hidden, and window.fbAsyncInit=function() {FB.Canvas.setSize();}.  But I'm still getting scrollbars.  I know I'll nail it with enough trial and error but I'm hoping someone here can provide a definitive guide, and maybe some way to do this without referencing yet another .JS file.

The Facebook Graph Toolkit is for server-side support, while the scroll bar problem is on the client side, so I am not quite sure if there is anything the toolkit can do.

However I may still post it on the blog if there's a solution that's helpful.
